A Song Thrush
Pretty rubbish photo but it marks a period of time. We don't have many thrushes but this one and his/her partner I see most mornings in exactly the same place as I go to pick the paper up. They are always hunting. I love the way they cock their heads to see (or listen?) for the worms just below the surface. After the young have fledged they disappear until next year.
