Kendal household recycling facility. In my opinion its a real dump.

Normally we use a really well designed recycling facility much nearer to home.
But we happened to be in Kendal for other reasons and we had various things in the back of the car waiting to be recycled. So we thought we would give it a try.

Along with 15 other cars we found ourselves trapped inside the site for half an hour. The site has to be closed whilst a full bin is removed and replaced with an empty one.

But instead of closing the main entrance from the road which would give one the option of going away, they shut an internal gate half way round the site so that many waiting cars are trapped.

Grr. Won’t be going there again !
