Newton Court

I was out of the house just after 8am, in pouring rain, for a couple of trips to our local council recycle centre in Ross on Wye (Herefordshire) to dump a double bed and mattress that we'd had for many years that was overdue replacement. The room is ready for when the 'new' one arrives from our neighbour who's moving.

Early afternoon the weather improved, and I popped out for some shopping. Newton Court is a large house set on the hillside overlooking Monmouth (South Wales, UK) and I see it most days so good to get a photo' of it. It dates to 1802AD and the history is in the link. I can't find out if it's still one house or split into apartments but I think it may be the latter.
