Diary of an Edinburgher

Haircut day

It was Archie’s long awaited haircut day. It’s been brought forward because Pip had his done, and so Archie looks like a wee sheep beside him.

I worked up to it all day - it takes over an hour, and my back gets very sore, half bending over. He’s so good about it though, just waits patiently.

JR went to the gym, and then went to the supermarket, and then took Archie out for a walk.

In the evening we popped over to Hazel’s for nibbles. She’s getting very excited, as her South African holiday, with a safari, is looming! She’s going to the Safari Lodge that we went to a few years ago. We’re very jealous, as we know what fun it is.

What a fab evening we had, with Hazel modelling her new pyjamas for her Business Class flight.

And the lights were on at the wee local gym/swimming pool. The renovation has rather longer than anticipated, but it’s nearing completion. We can see all the equipment in there now. I will go back there when it re-opens.    I WILL.

Day Three of the diet went a bit haywire with Hazel’s irresistible nibbles and bubbles…
