Winter Warmers

I harvested the borlotti beans from the allotment a few weeks ago and they have been spread out to dry in a cool dry room since then. Today I gathered them up to put in a storage jar for use in stews over the winter. They are such attractive looking beans - in their pods on the plant as well as when harvested.

Very relieved it is Friday. I’m having an early night to relax as I am worn out! Hope you are having/had a good Friday evening.
