Sunny Sit Spot

A few weeks ago I decided to get a bench for the front garden. Our back garden faces north and at this time of year gets very little sun. A few days ago the bench arrived and today it found its new home in our south facing front garden. I’m looking forward to some relaxing cups of tea here in the autumn and winter sunshine.

It’s been a day of getting ‘things’ done - cleaning, washing, tidying the garden, and buying some antiseptic powder and a bandage for Merlin’s cut paw. The paw is looking much better, nice and clean and healing so these are precautionary measures as he has had a few walks on soft grass today. We let him off the lead for a short run and he bounded around madly - poor boy he has so much pent up energy.
