Early Morning Sun

I walked around the block this morning when the sun was shining.  Everything looked beautiful.  This garden belongs to my neighbour.

Lots of people out.  About 50 runners doing the 5k run, from the park to Waterfall Creek and back.  

Further along the track a triathlon was just starting.  The first leg was a 25 k kayak, from Wanaka to Luggate, down the Clutha River, then a 43 k Mountain bike ride from Luggate to Lake Hawea and back to Albert Town.  Then a 14 k run from Albert Town to the finish line back in Wanaka.  The race finished in the rain!!  Extra photo is 3 runners at the finish line.  I think they are part of a team.

It started raining about 2 p.m. so the first competitors were back before the rain started.  The rain certainly looks pretty settled.
