bank holiday bargain book blip!

quick trip to Mr Sainsbury this morning to stock up on essentials for the day... and obligatory glance along the book shelves for anything of interest - bookcase with paperbacks/hardbacks of all genres all for donations of 50p with proceeds going to local charities... we always have a look and have snaffled a few bargains... and today was such a day...

picked up a copy of The Saint Closes the Case - originally sold for 2'6 (two shillings and sixpence in old money)... E had a quick look on ebay and there it was, same edition - £26 !! i'd call that a bit of a bumper bargain wouldn't you?

hope you've all had a good long weekend - we've had some lovely sunny weather, and even managed to sit outside in the garden - in fact we've eaten al fresco twice today!
