St Michael’s Mount
This is our third day here in Cornwall and today the weather changed from sunny and warm to cooler, windy and dull and an opportunity by host family Running Backward to do the tourist thing!
So off we go this morning to NT Godolphin Hall built on the income from Copper, Tin and Lead (?) whose derelict mines are observable in the area.
But the special treat was the visit this afternoon to Marazion and the very photogenic castle, gardens and community on this small tidal island accessed by the causeway shown in my picture.
I should mention it was closed!
Followed of course by various pasties and delicious fries back onshore!!
