Mrs UE and Grandson2( by age of course) looking in vain for the Spanish Armanda maybe?

They are standing in an arch of a vast wall which protects the Plymouth Docklands from the sea.

We are visiting Plymouth where Grandson is at University and taking him to lunch in Royal William Yard which is part of the vast grade1 historic complex of Navy buildings adjacent to the sea.

The Hoe is just around the corner and where Francis Drake is reputed to have denied sight of the Spanish Armada and finish a game of bowls …..or something like that !!
