Wet Sunday

It’s been incredibly wet again today. Merlin and I got drenched on our morning walk but we decided to embrace it. Gutters overflowed and poured like waterfalls onto the pavement, and the roads became filled with water but we were so wet by then, we cared not.

Other than wet dog walks it been a day of keeping cosy at home. I’ve made soup and jellies for Andy who has been resting all day. Merlin has been keeping a close eye on him between bouts of running around the house with his toys, scrounging for biscuits and sleeping.

With the clocks going back it’s dark now by 5.30pm.
