Isle of May
I started my day with a run. I was very slow to get going and it was still rather windy, but it was a bright, but grey kind of day. The return leg of my run was straight into the wind and was hard work. Five miles done before breakfast felt good.
BB and I had decided to walk to Anstruther along the coastal path today. It was a lovely day for it, apart from the strong wind. We were ready for some lunch when we got to Anstruther and went to the café in the Fisheries Museum. It was so nice to get out of the wind. We then had a quick walk through Anstruther before re-tracing our step to Crail. The wind was behind us, which made things a bit easier, but we were both very weary when we got home. We both collapsed on the sofa and had a snack. BB had a long telephone appointment with the GP, and he now has an in person appointment in a couple of weeks.
We had to pop out for some things for tea, then I went for my pre-tea constitutional around Crail. It was then home to make tea and to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas! We’ve stayed in this apartment a few times and we always watch this movie, as the DVD is in the house. Later we FaceTimed TT, but cut it short as the connection was terrible. I had an early night as I was still weary.
This is a view of the Isle of May from the coastal path. The extra is Caiplie Caves.
