High Maintenance....

The super-hectic extended weekend continues....

After the funeral and wake on Friday....and the Football Presentation evening yesterday....

Today was Ruby's birthday party....(she's waited very patiently since Friday, bless her).

The afternoon was a full on three hour pamper party....with foot-scrubs, manicures, pedicures, face masks....the full monty. Ruby's school friends, sisters and cousins were well and truly pampered and preened.

The sun was out all day and the girls could eat, drink, primp & polish to their hearts content....all in the safety of the garden (safe for my soft furnishings indoors that is)....! lol

By the end of the afternoon they were going wild on cheap coke & spongecake and a full on water fight broke out, with shouts, shrieks and screams filling the warm afternoon air....it was fantastic :):)

We couldn't have done it in such style if we hadn't had the help of two of Sarah's best mates....it's on days like this and over the weekend in general that you realise who your friends are ;)

And it's a bank holiday tomorrow....wooop wooop
