Spring....?

Surely not....! Though it was 20 degrees ;)

Sam is an expert on common or garden trampoline gymnastics and so at the BBQ this afternoon he decided to give Megan the benefit of his tutelage....and believe me, she needed no encouragement.

After three hectic days it was really nice to spend the afternoon with my brother around a friends enjoying lovely food, good company and a glass or two of cider in the sun.

Now, I have learned (from bitter experience) that the worst thing to do at the first sight of a cloudless sky, is....dive straight out and bask in the blaring sun for 4 hours, moving your chair each time as the shadow of the eaves creep upon you....

I've learned that....but not everyone seems to have....

Within half an hour of getting home and into the cool shade of the house....all I could hear was...."ooooh it stings, it itches, ouch, where did this redness come from, have you got any after-sun cream....?"

Bring on the summer....
