Most of these boats will be hauled out soon, but some will remain with bubblers surrounding them to prevent being crushed by ice. Yes, Lake Ontario does freeze over often.
The extras and the old lighthouse show the very narrow entrance to this harbour . The one closer to downtown has a wider mouth.
