The Creek….

……. This morning….. The light over the distant Wither Hills was gentle early this morning. The creek here turns and flows east to join the Taylor River. There was a little more water running in the river after yesterday’s rain.
Great friends, Jan and John, from Melbourne, visited this afternoon. Jan and I did our Nursing training at Wellington Hospital years ago and have remained firm friends ever since. It was lovely to meet up with John again after an absence of nearly sixty years. Where have all the years gone to?
