Granton Gasometer

A nice day after work, so I decided to head down to Granton for a wee after work cycle ride to see how the cycle network is progressing. Large sections of the cycle network are there, but accessing some of it is impossible as there are no dropped kerbs.

This is a blip of the last of three huge gasometers that used to stand at the Granton Gasworks in Edinburgh. Large parts of this structure are inaccessible, so even though this structure has listed status, it may soon have to be demolished.
