T shirt weather??
Sunday before school,
homework time and bag packing.
Don't start me on clocks.
We were fortunate that Ben slept well, so the clock change was not too bad. I had forgotten to remind him about it, so he was very cross when he first woke up and his bedside clock said 6:45 (literally unheard of for him to sleep that late!!) and the phone that we keep outside his room, monitoring his blood glucose, was showing 5:45. It felt like the smallest thing to me but he was really agitated for a while. He soon settled and the rest of the morning was fairly normal. We walked out to the shops, the forecast had said it would be cloudy or rainy so I didn't take my camera but it was sunny and lovely. Ben took his jumper off and this phone photo captures the way he swings his arms, chatting to himself and bobbing up and down.
We've tried to organise some bits for going back to school, designed a revision timetable for older teen's mock exams later this month. Mr KCNQ2Haiku and I have both had some time to sit and read our books :-) He's finally reading a book I recommended to him about 10 years ago.. and enjoying it, as I predicted!! Let it be noted that I told him so :-D
We went for a walk in the woods, it was a bit muddy but lovely to get the fresh air. Mr KCNQ2Haiku came today, which he does do often but not always and Ben was so happy he was there, it was very sweet.
A little dog decided to be my shadow for a while, the owner was clearly a bit put out that he had taken such a shine to me.. until I said "it's probably just the biscuits I've got in my pocket!!" What good is a walk to the woods without Ben's cookies :-D ??
Anyway, that's about it. I could grumble more about the concept of the clock change, it is one of my pet peeves. But I'll spare you. It is a stupid idea though. Just saying. Grr...
