We don’t always stay on the ‘all facilities’ Caravan Club sites. Occasionally we rough it on Certificated Locations, five-van sites which are often on farms with a cold water tap, and somewhere to dispose of toilet waste. As times change caravanners expect electric hook-ups to power their televisions, central heating etc and indeed this site had them. 
We chose this site because it was handy when visiting our son who lives in north Bristol although to the left out of shot is the M5 and the noise from it was constant 24/7. It is surprising how quickly one gets used to the noise and ignore it. The owner popped down on her bicycle to make sure we were happy which was a lovely thing to do.
The eagle-eyed among you may notice more than five vans - don’t ask!
