Hallowe'en Spider

It seems to me that big, black, hairy spiders and spiders' webs draped over everything are the decorations of choice this Hallowe'en.

A few weeks ago spiders were everywhere but I struggled to find one on its web today, this was the scariest I could find. I went searching again this afternoon and found a few nursery web spiders. One had only four legs left. These spiders don't catch their prey in webs but sprint after them. Amazing that four legs was surviving.
