After yesterday's little glitch, the first job today was to buy a replacement 'flow tap' for the shower. None available locally, so it was an internet order from the manufacturer.
Next, a last-minute effort carving a halloween pumpkin to go in the window this evening (extra) - it's visible all the way down the High Street!

An early lunch before someone came to gather information for the Energy Performance Certificate for the flat. A cheerful guy who sang as he worked, he obviously knew his stuff too, and was keen to impart energy-saving tips and information on heating systems.

I needed a breath of fresh air after that, and walked down to the river. Spotted this letter-box topper on the way - the local knitters have been busy again for Halloween.
