Paeony

I was inspired by Kath Gordon's shot yesterday of a budding paeony rose and early this morning took a few shots of a paeony in my own garden that was just about to come out. Since coming home, however, the closed bud has beautifully opened and, having taken a few more shots, have been in a dilemma as to which blip to show. Have finally chosen the open one as I love the sunlight catching on the creamy petals.

I also am loking forward to having a son returning home in just under two week's time from foreign shores. He's been a year in Sicily and has had a fantastic time enjoying la dolce vita!
