Peony flowering

Couldn't resist, six days later and this peony bud is flowering. I also posted a shot not dissimilar to this last year but offer no apologies as I just love these magnificent flowers.

Fantastic day both weather-wise and with time spent in the company of one of my favourite boys. Great day for 'pegging out' and got loads of washing done - not so keen on the huge pile of ironing that awaits me, though.

Not a peep all week from anyone interested in leasing the flat, not so good. Looks like it's bread and dripping for a while yet...
