Up on the roof

Left Ojai after a breakfast on the main drag and then drove into LA. I’m staying on for a few days of meetings and am putting up in the new Soho House on Holloway Drive.  For V it was a big trip down memory lane as he started his life in LA a stone’s throw away.  He told the girl who showed us to my room and she made a comment about not knowing much of the ‘history of the neighbourhood’ which was a bit crushing.  

We split up and did various chores, hair/online driving test/check up etc and met back at the House for a glass of wine on the roof.  V left for the airport at around 6 with this amazing sunset lighting up the sky.  

My old friend and colleague Ben S and his new partner came to dinner and we had a hilarious time - lots of stories and laughter.  Good to be back in work world!
