But no, this is the offices of Freud’s PR company and Lawless is one of their labels so it’s just PR. 

I had a bad night, mix of a cold, anxiety and the clocks going back so effectively got up at 3am.  I finished the novel by the novelist I was having lunch with and then wandered about listlessly.  

Missed the train I was meant to catch because I forgot my phone and then went straight into meetings all day.  

Lunch with said novelist and screenwriter, someone who i have known for years and who is now very successful and elegant.  Quite different from the young writer, script editor I first knew, but still as sweet and charming. It was a delightful lunch. 

I wasn’t sure I was up for the BAFTA screening V and I had booked but had dinner in Arcade and then when to watch SALTBURN.   It was very dark and gothic, quite like Emerald’s novels which is where her career began.  We enjoyed it a lot although it was incredibly tense and ultimately quite shocking.  Late train back and I found it hard to keep awake…
