Journey Through Time

Hungry Hummer

I saw this one at the azalea and I got pretty close and she didn't seem to mind. So, not a bad shot, and the best one of the day I guess. If you want to see some Allen Hummingbird babies, you can visit this site. It's a hummingbird cam. I believe you have to 'sign in' and there is an ad which is kind of annoying...but if you persevere, you will see two babies scrunched into the nest and maybe the mama feeding them.

The weather is much more comfortable. The hot desert wind subsided quite a bit. In the distance there are thunderclouds which is bringing lightening to central and eastern Oregon. Hopefully no fires get started as it has been so dry.

Bill and I went to the greenhouse where he works and got quite a few flowers for the yard. Tomorrow we are taking my aunt south to Bauman Farms which is outside of Woodburn, Oregon. It's a fun place to visit. I'm sure something there will be blip worthy.

Gotta go attend to dinner. Hamburgers on the grill and I got an avocado today when we went shopping...so YUM.....

See ya later.
