A RIDE IN THE PARK

I thought this little dog looked a bit anxious as her owner cycled past me, but perhaps they were on their way to or from the vet, and not just enjoying a turn around the park.

The window chaps were back very first thing today to do another job, replacing the flat roof above the bay window they installed yesterday. They decided that if they came really early they could get it done before the strong winds arrived. It was a good decision as they had the best weather of the day and were done by about 10.30am. We chose the (local) company because they did our neighbour's house back in the summer and were recommended, and gave us a good price, but since I ordered the work several other people have drawn in their breath and looked doubtful and told me of bad experiences with them. However, I'm really pleased and they'll get a good review from me.
