Incubating

My lovely No1 peanut is expecting her first baby in a wee while and has requested a puffin painting from nana for the nursery. This little daub went winging off to her yesterday, arriving safely today.

I’ll have to expand my repertoire and learn to paint some other creatures! The Precious asked me ages ago for something for her little Gusling and I thought about trying to paint a fox, but nothing that I have tried has pleased me so far. Back to the drawing board!

Looking back at my blips I see that I first painted a puffin two years ago. It does take the muse a long time to pinch me into activity. :-)
