Out With The Old, In With The New
We were up and out the door early. I was the only person at the lab so my blood draw was immediate. We are blessed to have most any type of medical facility within minutes of our home. Hubby stopped at Panera and I got a muffin for breakfast. Of course the food the kitties most easily digest is almost impossible to find. We searched at three stores who have had it previously, but came up empty handed. There was a sign at one saying there are supply problems with that brand. Seems to be a common occurrence these days. As we came back to our side of the county, I noticed they have painted the new water tower and are disassembling the old one. That area has grown immensely with new housing developments in every available corner. If only crime wasn’t going up in corresponding rates. We shopped for stocking stuffers - goodness, the prices are so much higher this year. It was definitely nap time after everything was put away and we’d had a bowl of soup. Hubby is going to Mass and then to a Knights’ meeting. I will snuggle with kitties and Kindle. As I reread this entry, it sounds pretty negative. For me personally, overall, life is good. The changes in our economy, crime and the supply chain are an inconvenience but it has not crippled me. But more and more, our fixed income, safety, and ability to get the things we need are being challenged. How long before the bad with the new will be greater than the bad with the old? Stay safe and healthy. Thanks for stopping by. “sometimes even though you're having a good time, you can't help but to stop and think about how much you miss
