King's Place

Up in Brick Lane, and decided to walk to St. Pancras across London. First two people I saw were the artists Gilbert and George walking from the cafe where they have breakfast every morning; through Spitalfields past the Old Market and the Gherkin; breakfast from Liverpool Street; Smithfields and then up Grays Inn Road. Met my colleague Helen to scope out a fieldtrip in King's Place - got some maps and other bits from the visitor centre, then back home; onwards into Norwich and had an hour to wander and go to the library then to the cinema to watch 'Decision to Leave' - new film from Park Chan Wook. Home in stormy weather.
