The Hermitage
Today was our only free day this week so decided to head along the A9 to The Hermitage for a walk. It was wet, but still beautiful and very quiet. The water roared here over the rocks. It was stunning and powerful.
Then the steady rain turned into double drops so made our way back to the car and into Dunkeld for some food. Had soup at Palmerstons which seemingly has changed hands. It was tasty. Then went to the Arran Bakery for coffee and a lemon and poppy seed loaf - delicious. Bought croissants for the freezer. It’s a lovely shop owned by a former Bake Off contestant called Flora from a few years ago.
Afternoon was spent knitting and watching Netflix Love is Blind.
Horrendous rain and wind in the evening was glad home and cosy.
