Lena's Belated Birthday Wishes

A wild day of gales and showers, calmer and drier tonight.  A drop in temperature too.

Up at 5am, and an early shift in the airport.  I was on the check-in desk first thing, then moved to meeting and boarding flights.  All in and out on time.  Nipped down to mam's after tea, and we headed over to see Jonny and family.  Walkies with Sammy, ready for an early night.  That's some new medication!  It knocked me out, still woke with pains, be a week before they kick in.  I've suffered with more pains today, along with fatigue and sick feeling at times, better as the day went on.  Hopefully my body will accept them quickly.

It was niece Lena's birthday yesterday, the youngest I have, and now she's 12!  After a catchup with the family, and discussions about the World Cup, it was time to look at her presents.  This Lego set was from granny (mam), and looked a success for Lena.  Great to see she's still got an active imagination for being creative.  Lena busy building her new super car, at home, Bigton.
