The day passed extra slowly, counting down the hours until work finished and we could leave for the trip to Wales. We waited until the bulk of rush hour had passed, so the roads weren't too busy, but there were some crazy drivers around, making it a bit of a hair-raising journey. On the plus side, there were some pretty skies. It felt good when we pulled up at half midnight.
