Flawed but compelling

The character Merivel that is. The sequel to Restoration dropped through my letterbox this morning, and I was delighted that it was a first edition published by Chatto & Windus. Very impressed with Wob.com. I spent the afternoon reading.
Quite a productive morning, and once I’d completed something I’ve been putting off I felt much better and tackled some of the more routine stuff, cancelling yoga to get through it all while I was on a roll.
The woodpecker is back, I could see him flitting about from my desk, hoping he will oblige with a blip sometime soon.
