Hot Hair-do

Bonfire Night came a day early for us when Family B brought fireworks over to let off in our garden. In the case of this one - in their pumpkin! It was great fun. They'd chosen a quiet selection, which suited all of us; no loud bangs, lots of pretty ones.

We had hot dogs and garlic bread while we watched, which went down well. And our daughter had brought marshmallows and chocolates, too. We sat around our fire pit, which we bought ourselves for our anniversary in September, but were using for the first time this evening. It was lovely and warm. (See my Extra.)
