Do not disturb

... I've had a hard night.

With the warmer weather, Mystère has become more or less nocturnal. I went out after dark last night to get some water from the fountain (nothing but the best for my sourdough starter!) and encountered him racing around the square so fast that his paws were actually thundering on the tarmac. He certainly wasn't interested in human company, there were far more interesting things to do. He has spent all day asleep in the towel basket in the bathroom. On sunny days the sunshine streams through the skylight, and it's lovely and warm in there.

It's been a long time since he last made an appearance here! My thoughts are with Kendall and Kismet, who are due to be reunited today.
