Ditch life
You nearly got a vine blip today, but since I figured out how to do a collage I decided I'd blip this instead. With all the rain we had earlier in spring, the ditches and verges alongside the plots of vines are full of vivid flowers, many of them lasting just a few days before fading. I can tell you that the one at top right is wild garlic, and bottom right is some kind of wasp's nest. I have no idea what the lovely, delicate purply-blue flower on the left is though; I looked for it in my sole botanical resource, Lo Jardinier's blog, and couldn't find it there.
After a hot, sunny day, rain is falling softly, refreshing the ditch life.
Note: it's better to look at these large.
