"Warning: this vehicle is 16.5 metres long"

I'm not sure who this warning is for.

I was on my way back from a rearranged guitar lesson, when I found myself behind this fellow. (And apologies to the car behind me, as well as thanks for their patience; the light is green, but I was taking a photo.)

Anyway, the warning. Is it for anyone who's thinking of overtaking?
