Floods in Wagga Wagga

Everyone is watching the advance of flood water towards Forbes and Wagga Wagga in the Central West. Thousands of properties are isolated, hundreds of people evacuated and there have been dozens of rescues. The photo shows a flood in Wagga Wagga in 1922. The tallest figure is MountGrace’s grandfather.


We have to say that that flood looks like a mere trickle compared with the peaks of more than 10m that are forecast now.
