Ciabatta

When my husband home-bakes our ciabatta,
I'm aware I can only grow fatter.
Blame myself or blame him
If I cannot stay slim?
The answer, of course, is the latter!

Can't begin to tell you how delicious this bread was. Yes, past tense, I'm afraid!
I also discovered that 'ciabatta' is Italian for 'slipper', which suits its flattish shape.
