Nestling in the bark

A bright sunny morning to take the edge off the cool air, so perfect for our walk. These fungi were growing in the bark of a fallen tree.
I missed the kickoff but back to enjoy Arsenal beating Chelsea to return to the top of the league.
It was raining hard in London and the clouds have returned here for a dismal, grey afternoon.
