Asparagus

Well, I'm not entirely sure what's come over me but, after yesterday's success in the garden, today I blitzed the house - sofa covers, curtains and all! I think it may be the news that rain is on it's way to the South West and I wanted to line dry as much as I could in the fine weather - what's happened to me?!

The reward for all this industriousness is gammon with green and white asparagus and some other lovely fresh veg from my organic delivery this morning. I also tried black salsify for the first time today - absolutely delicious!
