Rainy day blues

As forecast, the rain hit us in the night and has continued for most of the day with a few breaks. It was the perfect opportunity to high tail it into Plymouth and get a few bits for the husbands big birthday bash next month. A quick dash around town might have resulted in a couple of extras falling into the basket for me, but was a general success.

Home to a glimpse of sunshine and I spotted these raindrops on the bluebells in the garden. Unfortunately we inherited those nasty big American sized bluebells rather than the proper English ones, and I keep meaning to hoik them out but have yet to do so. There was a tiny green spider in one of them and the rain on his little web looked gorgeous too. I also took some pictures of my herbs which looked like they had tiny little Christmas baubles on them - it was a job to decide which photo to choose but this one won today.
