Veteran's Day Parade

This fun couple stole the show at the Veteran's Day parade in La Plata today.
 
It was a proud moment for us to see our granddaughter march with her Daisy Girl Scout Troop (extra) and both of her Veteran parents!

I love that their Daisy troop filled gift bags for homeless children at their last meeting. Their lesson was to recognize the difference between things that they want and things that they need. Hats off to the inspiring troop leaders behind the banner who are teaching these girls to care for their community.
