Des res by the river!

The rusty old barge/dredger was obviously just the place this goose wanted to build her nest and bring up her young ones!

Picnic by the river at Naburn Locks on the river Ouse, and then a walk along the river bank.
Such a beautiful day again. Even hotter than yesterday 24C!

Took lots of photos, but I liked this one best.

We were disappointed that there was no asparagus ready yet, due to the bad weather. May be next week or the week after. It is certainly late this year.

Not sure how long the wonderful weather is going to last, so we are making the most of it.
Washing, cleaning etc. can wait for a rainy day!
