Tribute to a young life

Today I went for a walk with the walking group.  We went from Trefor along lanes and canal.  We were close to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct although we didn't go over it on this occasion.

The aqueduct crosses the River Dee and on the banks of the river is this memorial marking a very sad event.  A few years ago a 12 year old boy fell into the river from a rope swing and drowned. His family/friends keep this little garden tribute up to date with the seasons.
