Collecting

Another gorgeous day. Had lunch outside in the sunshine at a restaurant with two friends feeling like we were actually in Italy. Happily, my current student and I were given permission to leave site later on in the afternoon and go and sit in the sunshine to revise. Biology revision so much more interesting in the open air.

The blackbird is obviously collecting for chicks. I'm always impressed by how the birds manage to line up the mealworms so neatly to cram as many in their beaks as possible.
