Is the drought over?

Obviously the answer is ‘no’ but compared to the parch of Northern California this is pretty wet on the surface.  Much of the cause of this and the subsequent erosion of top soil is losing hedges and replacing field margin with banks .  All of which happened a long time ago. But….at least someone caused the flow to head into the field alongside our garden rather than through it 

Went to the dentist first thing and knocked off a few chores in Petersfield, other wise happily in my home office re-engaging with the work world.
