Full desks

It was lovely coming in today and seeing all our desks filled up. We have new people starting, new assistant for Wendy, new PA for Noemi, new script editor for series 2 of Wreck,  and my old friend and colleague Jonathan joining us as producer for Nightsleeper.   

All the trains were a bit dodgy as the strike had been called off quite late in the day so my train was overcrowded but I managed through tactics and cunning to get a seat. 

All in all good day - home late having stayed in for an international call. Our friend Ed who is lecturing nearby in Chichester stayed over, arriving through stormy rain on his motorbike for a late kitchen supper.
