Tuesday: Casualty of the Storm

Weather has been “ferocious” for most of the day - I don’t use this word lightly: around lunchtime the wind, driving rain and hail were the worst I’d seen in a very long time. Almost 9pm and wind still howling :-((
Chainsaws, strimmers, etc continued from yesterday and The Shoot could be heard not too far away … I tried to escape all the chaos outside by watching Dr. Who on iPlayer but that was even more fast and furious and chaotic … :-((
Not to worry … peeling potatoes and preparing broccoli for steaming brought me gently back down to Earth :-))
